We’ve talked about some crazy games during our time doing Bear & Balanced, but none quite as crazy as yesterday’s 47 to 42 Chicago Bears win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Eight lead changes, 1,071 total yards of offense, 31 fourth-quarter points, and a couple of firsts in NFL history by the Bears.
Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears matched their win total from last season and are in the thick of the NFC playoff race.
Trey Hendrickson is listed as doubtful on the Bengals' final injury report leading up to the game against Chicago on Sunday. He is recovering from a hip injury that sidelined him two weeks ago against Pittsburgh (and was re-injured against the Jets last week).

Flacco completed 31-of-47 passes for 457 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions. Tremaine Edmonds intercepted a Flacco pass with 2:29 left in the game. The Bengals' defense forced a punt and Cincinnati's offense went on back-to-back touchdown drives to take the lead.
The Cincinnati Bengals host the Chicago Bears on Sunday in a battle of teams looking to stay in the thick of the playoff race. Both teams enter the game with injury issues, as the Bengals have Joe Flacco dealing with an AC joint sprain while the Bears will be without D'Andre Swift and several pieces of their secondary.
The Chicago Bears will now have to wait until the new year for a chance to get enough support to build their $3 billion suburban stadium.
