Gilbert Arenas recently claimed that the 2016-17 Golden State Warriors went into "overkill" mode by signing Kevin Durant after already completing a historic 73-9 regular season, arguing that even with smaller additions instead of KD, the Warriors would have still won championships.

Kevin Durant, who finished with 25 points, said he didn’t get to see the foul on Thompson because he was guarding the inbounder and never got a good look at the replay, but he was more judicious about the officiating than his coach. “It’s unfortunate, you know,” Durant said. “The refs can’t get every play right.”
