The Federal Aviation Administration will cut air traffic by 10% at 40 airports across the country starting Friday, if shutdown continues.
PLEASANTON — A 56-year-old pedestrian was killed in a traffic collision Tuesday night, authorities said. The fatal collision happened about 6:41 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Main and Neal streets.
The crash, first reported at 2:13 p.m., caused heavy traffic on two Louisville interstates ahead of the rush hour period.
Duffy said the FAA will reduce flight capacity across the nation's airspace starting on Friday if air traffic controllers continue to be unpaid.
