Ahead of the trade deadline, the Indianapolis Colts have shown interest in a defensive deal with the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Indianapolis Colts will need to look elsewhere as one trade target comes off the board and is sent to the Dallas Cowboys.

The Bengals get Lammons, a veteran on the final year of his contract who can provide nice depth. They need help now and into 2026 with Cam Taylor-Britt, at least, seeming on his way out the door. There’s still the issue of honoring trade requests at all here, but getting something back out of a messy split with Wilson is better than nothing.

Ahmad Gardner got the nickname Sauce when he was six years old. He played for the East Side Bengals youth team in Detroit for Curtez Harris, who had a nickname for all of his players. Gardner was A1, the first letter of his given first name and jersey number.

In a stunning move, the Jets have traded cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Colts. Per multiple reports, the Colts will send two first-round picks to the Jets for Gardner. The fourth overall pick in the 2022 draft, Gardner became a first-team All-Pro in each of his first two seasons. Last year wasn’t as good. This year, the Jets decided to sell high.
