At least 12 people were killed and several others injured after a UPS plane crashed shortly after taking off from the Louisville International Airport on Tuesday.
LOUISVILLE, KY (HawaiiNewsNow) - Some Kentucky residents have been finding debris with Hawaii mailing addresses after a Honolulu-bound UPS plane crashed during takeoff Wednesday. Kentucky officials are urging the public not to touch any debris from the crash. Instead, a website has been created for people to report found mail.
Determining the cause of the crash will be part of an already-in-progress National Transportation Safety Board investigation.
Federal safety investigators have located the “black box” recorders from the wreckage of a Hawaii-bound UPS cargo plane that crashed in flames on takeoff from the airport at Louisville, Kentucky, killing at least 11 people,
