A 1% road tax in Evans is well on its way to becoming permanent, receiving 1,626 votes in favor to just 646 votes against, early election results show.

Incumbent Greeley City Councilman Johnny Olson is leading the Ward 3 race after the first batch of results were released Tuesday night.
